My name is Zuzana Crook and I am a School Wellbeing Practitioner with Centacare Southwest NSW. I have worked at St Joseph’s Leeton for 1.5yrs and I’m excited to continue working with the school community. I am expecting to be at the school every Monday and Tuesday. Parents (and teachers) can make referrals through the teachers and/or school wellbeing committee. I will be offering individual counselling, class work, and targeted group work. As a generalist school counsellor, I work with a variety of general short-term counselling issues such as: depression, anxiety, bullying, social skills, selfesteem, and anger & behaviour management. I will work with your child and family to find the best options available outside of the school if long-term and/or advanced treatment is needed. A bit about me: • I have degrees in counselling and psychology with a further qualification in criminal justice. • I will commence my honours in psychology this year to continue on the path of becoming a registered child psychologist. • Before working for Centacare, I had a private practise in Narrandera and have worked with many organisations in the area to provide services for younger clients.
